Structural health monitoring of a full-scale seismic controlled high-rise building specimen is conducted on the E-defense huge shaking table test. Three kinds of story stiffness are estimated from all records of the shaking table test; (1) story stiffness of columns only, (2) story stiffness of columns and dampers, and (3) contracted stiffness of the lower four story columns. As a result, changes in story stiffness are clearly detected before and after severe damage of ruptures on some edges of steel girders, which shows one example of feasibility demonstration in structural health monitoring.
