The world’s first test facility that can conduct visualization experiments with the almost constant tip clearance in either water or liquid nitrogen was developed. However, it is hard to measure the flow rate at a low flow rate region in the conventional flow rate meter stably. Then, a new flow rate meter was developed to measure the flow rate more accurately. The location to install the new flow meter is upstream of the inducer instead downstream of the inducer. The values measured by the old flow meter can be converted into the values by the new one. The comparison was conducted by using the more accurate flow rate.
