We suggested and examined a "sensitized thermoelectric cell" that was based on a dye- sensitized solar cell. If “thermal” excited electrons in the semiconductor could cause an ion redox reaction as dyes in dye-sensitized solar cell, a novel thermoelectric generator that functions without a temperature difference. In this presentation, the new sensitized thermoelectric cell composed of Ge semiconductor/Vanadium redox ions worked at 80℃ would be reported.
