In this study, the material parameters of the existing constitutive model were calibrated from the results of cyclic material coupon tests of high-strength steel. The loaddisplacement relationship of box-section members under non-uniform bending composed of the same steel was reproduced by the analysis based on the finite element method (FEM).The FEM analysis showed that the linear kinematic hardening model is not accurate enough to reproduce the historical properties of both material level and member behavior. The relationship between the numerical trend of the Chaboche model parameters and the reproducibility of the material cycic coupon test is also discussed, and the suitability of each calibration result in the member analysis is evaluated in terms of the strength transition and energy absorption.
